Meet the Founder

The partner boutique immigration firms call when they’re ready to grow.

Dayana Valero Halten has spent more than 20 years inside immigration practices, first as a member of their teams and, since 2015, as a contract paralegal and practice development partner. She helps boutique firms handle employment-based cases and grow their practices.

Her Story

A trusted resource. An experienced collaborator.

Dayana began her immigration career in 2004, spending eleven years at law firms including Fragomen and Gunster. Working on hundreds of PERM, I-140, H-1B, and EB-1 matters, she developed a detailed understanding of case preparation along with the workflows, training, and systems behind a well-run practice.

She founded Valero Legal in 2015, bringing that experience directly to immigration firms as a contract paralegal and consultant. For more than a decade, she has worked alongside their attorneys and teams, supporting cases and clients in English and Spanish.

Today, Dayana also helps boutique firms launch and grow employment-based immigration practices. Her work spans service offerings, pricing, marketing, team training, and practical guidance for attorneys and staff. A law firm entering the field for the first time secured more than $100,000 in signed engagements within 90 days of working with her.

Dayana also helps firms identify employment-based opportunities within their existing caseloads and develop the services, skills, and systems to pursue them.

An immigrant herself, Dayana understands what each case means to the person behind it. That perspective shapes how she supports law firms: thoughtful planning, clear communication, and clients who feel informed, respected, and supported as they pursue their goals. She helps firms make that standard of care part of their everyday practice.

Firms work directly with Dayana for her experience, her judgment, and her commitment to putting plans into practice.
